Residential Colleges Suite Processes

General Information

Please be sure to review the Residential Colleges General Information section.

Any unassigned student who submitted their Housing Registration between January 8 and 12, 2024 is eligible to participate in the residential college suite processes.

Suite Locations and Types:

  • 6-Person Suites:
    • Warren & Moore Colleges (6 individual bedrooms)
  • 5-Person Suites:
    • Warren & Moore Colleges (5 individual bedrooms)
      • NOTE:  5-Person suites are extremely limited with only seven (7) available.
  • 4-Person Suites:
    • All residential colleges (4 individual bedrooms)

In addition to bedroom spaces, all suites include a convenience kitchen (sink, refrigerator and microwave; no oven or cooktop), living/dining area, and one (1) bathroom.

The 6-Person and the 5-Person Suite Processes will take place as one process, followed by the 4-Person Suite Process.

Roommate group formation is specific to each process.  For each process, students will need to form roommate groups based on the required criteria.  Roommate groups must be fully matched and contain the correct number of students in order to be considered for the random selection process, meaning all students must confirm the group by either requesting or accepting other students. A seniority-driven, random selection will take place for each process utilizing the point average for each roommate group to determine successful groups, and the order for room selection.

Room selection will take place online in the Housing Portal.  Successful groups will be notified via email and provided with a specific room selection time and instructions for completing the online room selection.  Unsuccessful groups will also be notified and should plan to participate in future processes.

Prior to the beginning of the application period, information will be posted in the Housing Portal under “Housing Lottery Statistics and Documents” regarding the number of available units.
