Michael Morosi

Managing Partner, Southeast Acquisition Capital


Michael Morosi is an investor with over 15 years of experience across public equities, private equity, VC, and social impact investments. Michael has worked for investment management firms in the US and Spain and has invested in markets throughout the Americas, EMEA, and Asia. A generalist at heart, Michael also developed particular expertise in the technology and renewable energy sectors.

Michael is currently Managing Partner of Southeast Acquisition Capital, a Nashville-based private equity partnership that makes high-impact investments in middle-market companies. The firm’s investments create opportunities for all employees to build wealth by becoming owners, unlocking talent and productivity and ultimately leading to better business, individual, and community outcomes.

Michael graduated with a BA in Economics and Business from Kalamazoo College and was captain of the baseball team. He received an Executive MBA from IE Business School in Madrid, Spain, where he also served as an adjunct professor of Finance.

A native of Michigan, Michael lives in Nashville with his wife, an educator and Peabody grad, and two children. When not working on investments, you can find Michael volunteering at his children’s school, coaching Little League baseball, hiking in the Warner Parks, or partaking in a sobremesa with family and friends, at home or in Madrid.
