Dr. Carolyn Thompson is a Board-certified OB/Gyn with over 26 years’ clinical experience in management of the entire spectrum of obstetric medicine, as well as 20 years’ experience in practice management. Her years in practice have facilitated her work as a medical litigation consultant providing expert Ob/Gyn case review, deposition, and testimony at trial for medical malpractice cases. Her experience in this area in particular provides valuable insight into critical aspects of clinical decision support, and guidance in building and marketing a product that is best positioned to mitigate both suboptimal outcomes and litigation risks. Dr. Thompson holds a Bachelor’s Degree cum laude from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Her Medical Degree was earned with honors at The University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center, and she completed her Internship and residency training at The University of Missouri, Kansas City. She has participated in international surgical mission work for almost 20 years.
