Ambassador Spotlight

This past weekend, the 5th Annual Nashville Maker Faire was hosted at the Wond’ry. The Maker Faire is a gathering of fascinating and curious people who enjoy learning and sharing what they do. Maker Faire participants include engineers, scientists, crafters, artists, etc. Really anyone and everyone is welcome to participate in the event! The Faire allows “makers” to show their hobbies, interests, experiments, and projects to the community. This family-friendly event allowed participants to showcase their innovation, resourcefulness, and creativity over the course of the two-day Faire. From robotic fights to drone exhibitions, there were a variety of programs on display for all interested attendees. This year’s Maker Faire introduced a number of new technologies and programs that members of not only the Vanderbilt community, but the surrounding Nashville community as well, were able to observe and participate in.
