An Overview of Zoom Meetings

If you will be teaching your course remotely, or if students will be learning remotely, you will want to use Zoom Meetings in your Brightspace course.

Zoom is an interface that allows an unlimited number of users to join the meeting simultaneously. In the meeting environment, you’ll have these tools available to you and more:

  • Screen sharing (instructor and students)
  • Co-annotating
  • Video and audio options
  • Remote mouse control
  • Chat log

You can learn more about Zoom’s features at the Zoom website.
