Kappa Alpha Order
Kappa Alpha Order was founded at Washington College in Lexington, Virginia in 1865. Currently Kappa Alpha Order has 133 active chapters across the United States, and has initiated more than 150,000 members since 1865. KA’s values instill honor, and aim to provide “The Moral Compass for the Modern Gentleman”.
Chi Chapter was established on April 9, 1883 at Vanderbilt University. Brothers can be seen across campus involved in various activities and causes, from business/investment clubs, engineering/VR, to ROTC. The areas of study are also diverse among the brothers of Chi Chapter, with members seeking degrees in Law, Medicine, HOD, Economics, and much more.
KA works closely with the Muscular Dystrophy Association, and puts on an annual walking fundraiser for the local Nashville organization. Chi chapter has also held blood drives to benefit the red cross, and spread awareness about the importance of blood donation.
