Vikash Khokhar

Interdisciplinary Materials Science

Overview:

Vikash Khokhar is a 1st year PhD student in the Interdisciplinary Materials Science Program doing his 1st research rotation under Professor De-en Jiang. His research interest is computational material science, studying materials properties computationally using tools like DFT and MD Simulations.

Vikash is very passionate about science outreach and spreading scientific knowledge. Since he started graduate school, he has participated in several VINSE outreach programs. He has served for TN Maker-fest. In addition, Vikash has assisted with the cleanroom outreach program for high school students. Under the NanoGuides program, Vikash will continue to assist different outreach programs for VINSE and Engineering school.
