Michael J. McNeill

Chemistry

Overview:

Michael McNeill is a first-year graduate student in the chemistry PhD program. Michael graduated with a Bachelor of science degree in chemistry from Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia, PA. Currently, he is rotating through labs within the chemistry department. His research interests include organometallic and nanoparticle synthesis. These stem from his background attained during his undergraduate research on tungsten carbon dioxide complexes. As well as the nano-chemistry class in which he excelled during his third year of undergraduate study. He is excited to start his outreach journey as a VINSE NanoGuide in his first semester of graduate school. He is interested in volunteering for the blackberry solar cell, cleanroom microfluidics, and cleanroom solar cell labs. Likewise, Michael intends to help with the Summer Science Academy in Nanoscience.
