Katja S. Diaz Granados

Interdisciplinary Materials Science

Overview:

Katja Diaz-Granados is a fourth year graduate student in the Interdisciplinary Materials Science program. She is a member of the Caldwell Nanophotonics Materials and Devices Lab and her research focuses on light-matter interactions at the nanoscale. She is in particular studying how near-field optical spectroscopy can be applied to the characterization of cultural heritage artifacts. 

Katja has volunteered in the past at the VINSE family and friends day, as well as for the blackberry solar cell build and looks forward to partaking in future events.
