There is never a testimony without a test. My goal as a counselor is to help create an environment that is conducive to learning from every experience. I enjoy helping people heal, change and grow through difficult time. I am a person-centered therapist here to help you work through life’s challenges. We all need support at times. Let me guide you through the therapeutic process to be a better you.

Keyishi is a New Orleans native who received her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas, and worked as a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Texas. Keyishi conducted research at University of Texas Health Science Center working with parents of children in Memorial Hermann’s PICU and Baylor College of Medicine working with parents of children diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes. She is currently pursuing a Counseling Psychology PhD from Tennessee State University.

Keyishi’s research interest includes Mental Health Care among racial/ethnic minorities specifically the African American and Latino population. She specifically wants to focus on disparities in mental health service among African Americans/Latinos with severe mental illness and the effects of race-related and cultural factors on the mental health of African American women.

Keyishi’s self-care activities include spending time with her husband and watching the amazing New Orleans Saints. Who Dat!!!!!
