The next IICC DoS Talk About It Thursdays, Professional Development will be next Thursday, May 5th in Sarratt 216/220, 12pm – 1:30pm.  This is a bring your own lunch (byol) event, with beverages provided.

The Socialization of Words– May 5, 2016 (Sarratt 216/220) – Emily Hickey (facilitator)

Description: This session will focus on the history of words and phrases that have often been used and seen as hurtful. Participants will engage in an open conversation that is designed to increase an awareness and knowledge of inclusive language.
