May Outage Scheduled to include Maintenance and Upgrade

OAK will be down Sunday and Monday, May 12-13 (available again by 8AM Tuesday, May 14) for routine maintenance and a software upgrade. The upgrade from Blackboard 9.1 Service Pack 8 to Blackboard 9.1 Service Pack 11 will consist of several new features and bug fixes, including copy/paste from Word, a new interactive Calendar tool, and the ability to provide targeted information (view full details).

New Brightspace Support Schedule

The Brightspace Support team has updated our support schedule. We are available for support between 7 AM and 11 PM Monday through Friday. From 5 PM to 11 PM on weekdays, users should anticipate receiving support for urgent requests only. Urgent requests may include, but are not limited to the following:

• Requests related to submissions due before 9 AM the following business day
• Requests regarding courses held before 9 AM the following business day
• Major outages

All other emails will be addressed when the team returns to normal support at 7 AM the following business day. While we’re out, we encourage you to utilize our on-demand resources to answer any questions that arise.
