Join Student Leadership Development for the 6th annual TEDxVanderbiltUniversity Conference, Sunday, February 7, to hear 8 members of the Vanderbilt community share their ideas worth spreading! Vanderbilt students, staff, faculty, and alumni are all welcome to attend the virtual event.

We are excited to announce that two Dean of Students team members will be speaking at this
year’s event!

Antonella Valdivia, Program Coordinator for the Student Center for Social Justice and Identity, will be speaking about supporting the experiences of Latinx womxn in higher education in her talk “Si Se Puede Apoyar: The Importance of College Persistence Practices in Higher Education Through the Lens of Latinx Womxn.”

 

And, Ian Anderson, Graduate Area Coordinator for OHARE, will be discussing the college dropout crisis in his talk “Academic Epidemic: The Cost of College Drop-out.”
