Welcome New DOS staff!

The following new staff members have recently joined the Dean of Students division. Welcome to Vanderbilt!

Dominique Ennis
Director of Students Centers

Dominique came to Vanderbilt University Student Centers in July 2017 from Tulane University where she was the Associate Director of Facilities for the Department of Campus Recreation.  Historically working in collegiate recreation, she specializes in facility operations, construction project management, and special events.  She has worked with a variety of operations, maintenance, custodial, professional and student staff throughout her career.  Originally from Norfolk Virginia, Dominique received her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Old Dominion University in Exercise Science and Sport Management respectively.  Her professional career has taken her from the United States Navy to the University of North Carolina at Asheville where her involvement with Student Affairs began.  Upon leaving UNC Asheville her career path included stints at the University of Miami (Florida) and Tulane University (New Orleans) before ending up with us at Vanderbilt.  Dominique loves to be active in a variety of ways from walking her two Shiba Inus, to rock climbing, yoga, or a quick run.

Carly Burt
Assistant Director of Conferences

Carly joined the Vanderbilt family on Monday, July 17, 2017. Carly returns to Nashville, the after working at the New Orlean’s Convention Center. She earned her MBA at Lipscomb University, while employeed as a Program Coordinator.

 

 

 

 

Bridget Ukawu
Program Coordinator of Conferences

Bridget returned to her Vanderbilt family, on Monday, July 10. 2017. As a Vanderbilt undergrad, Bridget Ukawu spent two summers as a Conference & Event Coordinator. After graduating from Vanderbilt this Spring, we are very fortunate to have Bridget back in our office as a Program Coordiator.

 

 

Danny Coradazzi
Area Coordinator for Alumni Lawn

Danny Coradazzi serves as the Area Coordinator for Alumni Lawn, one of Vanderbilt’s upper-class residential areas. He completed undergraduate degrees in Spanish and Linguistics from the University of Georgia in May 2013, where he worked as a Resident Assistant for 3 years. Danny completed his graduate work at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville in College Student Personnel and worked as a Graduate Assistant with University Housing. Prior to joining the Housing and Residential Education team in July 2017, he worked professional for 2 years at Auburn University with Housing and Residential Education. He is interested in peer-to-peer engagement, international student programs, and assessment. Danny and his wife are excited to return to Nashville and appreciate the warm welcome to the Vanderbilt Community.

 

Lisa Martinson
Area Coordinator for Crawford, Stambaugh, and North Houses

Lisa Martinson serves as the new Area Coordinator for The Commons, particularly for Crawford, Stambaugh and The North House. Prior to arriving to Vanderbilt University, Lisa served as a Residence Hall Director at the University of Georgia for four years, mainly working with first year students. She earned her Bachelors of Science degree from South Dakota State University in Sociology-Human Services where she served as an Resident Assistant and then later went on to obtain her Master in Arts degree from University of South Dakota with emphasis in Adult and Higher Education and Native American Studies, serving as a Graduate Hall Director. Through her education and experience, Lisa enjoys the integration of inside and outside classroom education; along with focusing on student success as they matriculate through the institution but also their success in the workforce after their undergraduate education.

In her free time, Lisa enjoys attending concerts of her favorite musicians, theatre and ballet performances, along with reading about financial habits, crocheting, and hanging out at local coffee shops. Lisa and “Kitty 4000” are excited to be able to call Nashville home and to be a part of the Commodore community!!
