Project Safe: Supporting a Survivor for Staff and Faculty
Project Safe will be offering “Supporting a Survivor for Staff and Faculty” on May 23rd from 11:00-12:30 pm in Rand 308. Desserts will be served!
Faculty and staff are often interfacing with students who have experienced violence and trauma, and this workshop provides necessary information about the best ways we can support our students. Project Safe Center staff provide tips and strategies in a facilitated dialogue for those interested in learning how to better support those who have experienced intimate partner violence. Learn what appropriate and constructive support looks like in the immediate aftermath of an incident, in the weeks following an assault, and over time. Participants will also be lead through their mandatory reporting obligations.
