Chris Purcell, Director of LGBTQI Life, has completed his Ed.D. in Higher Education Leadership and Policy through Vanderbilt’s Peabody College.

He presented his capstone project “Perceptions of Academic Advising at Birmingham Southern College” on Friday, April 21st along with fellow Ed.D. students Leslie N. Grinage and Alexis Martinez and will walk in May 12th’s Commencement ceremony.

A gathering in Chris’s honor is slated for Friday May 12th (the day of Commencement) at 1:30pm at the KC Potter Center.
