New Area Maintenance Supervisor

Posted by on Friday, March 31, 2017 in News Blurbs.

Philip Ferrara was born in the Bronx, N.Y. but lived most of his young adult years in the Tampa, Florida area.  He ran a family outdoor power equipment dealership for many years before deciding to go back to school to study architecture.  As career goals often change he pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Saint Leo University.   His wife, Mary, and daughter, Brianna, have made the Nashville area their home for just over eight years now.  Philip comes to Vanderbilt University Housing Facilities as an Area Maintenance Supervisor from a small Nashville company that specializes in facility management of schools and churches.  Away from work, he manages their family and home, while hands on fixing, repairing and updating the house on a continual basis.  Philip also has not outgrown his childhood passions of building, maintaining and fabricating cars and motorcycles.
