International Lens will screen Wadjda
On Wednesday March 16 International Lens will be screening Wadjda, the first feature film to be shot entirely in Saudi Arabia; it’s also the first feature to be written and directed by a Saudi woman. Here’s a review of the film, as well as the trailer for it.
The Women’s Center is sponsoring the film in collaboration with the Muslim Students Association. After the film, there will be a short discussion led by Hasina Mohyuddin and Farishtay Yamin.
