Posted by on Thursday, August 1, 2013 in archives.

A new flexPTO program will go into affect in July 2014 for all University staff. All staff need to be fully aware of these changes as we go into the open enrollment period in October.

To help us all better understand the new policy, Rick Ohmer and Alan Napier from HR will present an informational meeting this Friday, August 2 at 1 pm in Sarratt 189. Please plan to attend:

While flexPTO will not go into effect until next year, we anticipate you will have questions and concerns as to how this will impact you directly. There will be about a 20 minute presentation with the remainder of the hour set aside for questions. If you have not already done so, please visit the flexPTO website where you will be able to find more information on:

  • Program Guide – a comprehensive description of flexPTO that you can download, complete with accrual rates, flexPTO bank limits, FAQs and scenarios.
  • Accrual Rate schedule – how much you’ll accrue each pay period.
  • FlexPTO Bank Limit schedule – for both phases, January and July 2014.
  • FAQs – you have questions, we have answers.
  • Scenarios – Work for vacations? Want a safety net? See how flexPTO works for you.
