Meet Aarshia!
Moving from India to the U.S. has been a journey of growth, challenge, and stepping out of my comfort zone. I came here with the goal of a truly global education, knowing that Vanderbilt’s diverse community would help expand my perspective in ways I couldn’t experience back home. At Owen, I appreciate that I am always challenged to build on my strategic and leadership skills. The U.S. is often called the land of opportunity, and I got a taste of that this summer during my internship in the FLDP program at Eli Lilly. Living in Nashville has been amazing too! From learning to appreciate country music (something I never imagined) to navigating the world of college football and Southern hospitality, each experience has taught me something new about this culture and myself.
