You are part of the Vanderbilt community

As your children are in their college years, your roles as parents will continue to evolve, but your ability to positively impact their lives will endure. Their lives will be enriched by your generosity of time and energy.

The university has a strong tradition of parent and family involvement, and we hope you will be active members of the Vanderbilt community both in Nashville and in your city. You may have already attended a Commodore Launch party, and you are invited to join other local chapter events. There are many rewarding ways to volunteer for the university, and we encourage you to find a role that is meaningful to you.

I would like to volunteer!

Participate in a Local Chapter Event

Vanderbilt Chapters are the foundation of the Alumni Association. They provide a great way to connect parents, students, alumni, and friends worldwide in the name of Vanderbilt. Hard-working volunteers—with assistance from the Alumni Association—plan and implement a full calendar of events and programming for each chartered Chapter.
