As a parent or family member of a Vanderbilt student, you are automatically considered a member of the Parents and Family Association! It enables parents both to actively participate in the life of their Vanderbilt student and to interact with and lend support to other parents.

Vanderbilt Chapters
Vanderbilt Chapters are part of a vibrant Vanderbilt experience. They provide a great way to connect alumni, parents, students, and friends worldwide. Each chapter's volunteer leadership, with assistance from the Alumni Association, plan and implement a full calendar of events.

By being a Vanderbilt Parent Ambassador, parents can be involved where and when they want. We have opportunities in your local area, virtually, and on campus. We hope you will join our team!

Parents and Family Association Board
Parents and Family Association Board are invited ambassadors of the parent community representing the four undergraduate schools, class years, and regions. Board members are top parent leaders waving the black and gold flag in their local communities and at Vanderbilt events. Working with the University to support Vanderbilt's commitment to the interdisciplinary research enterprise and inclusive excellence.

Parent Leadership Committee
Parents Leadership Committee (PLC) members are committed to investing in Vanderbilt and its future. The group is composed of parent donors who make an annual gift of $10,000 or more to any university program that is meaningful to their student and family.
