What kinds of devices are compatible with Respondus LockDown Browser?

PCs, Macs, and Chromebooks are all compatible with the use of Respondus LockDown browser.

iPads (but not Android or Chrome OS tablets) may also be compatible with the use of Respondus LockDown browser, depending on whether the instructor has opted to allow their usage for a particular quiz.

Please do not use the Pulse app or mobile browsers to take a quiz requiring Respondus LockDown Browser.

Updated Brightspace Support Availability

The EdTech team has transitioned support models. From 5 PM – 11 PM on weekdays, users should anticipate receiving support for urgent requests only. Urgent requests may include, but are not limited to the following:

• Requests related to submissions due before 9 AM the following business day
• Requests regarding courses held before 9 AM the following business day
• Major outages
