The success of our Vanderbilt University Bands program depends greatly on the continued support from loyal alumni and friends. One of our current projects is the purchase of new sousaphones, a multi-year endeavor which will help improve the sound and appearance of our ensembles as well as enriching the experience of the students involved in the Vanderbilt Athletic Bands. We want to make sure our students have the equipment they need to be successful as a part of the Vanderbilt Athletic Bands program.
Spirit of Gold Marching Band Excellence Fund
The Spirit of Gold Marching Band Excellence Fund is dedicated to the ongoing improvement and strengthening of the Vanderbilt University Marching & Athletic Bands. Our donors are friends, alumni, and advocates of the University who recognize the value of the Marching Band experience and are essential to the program's success.
While supplies last, by donating a cumulative $250 or more to the Spirit of Gold Excellence Fund, donors will receive a Uniform Pillow as a "thank you".
The best way to support the Athletic Bands is to click the above link or go to the Giving to Vanderbilt website. This website provides options for giving, including online, mailing a check, bank draft, or over the phone. When giving for the band, please notate "Spirit of Gold Marching Band" in order for funds to be directed correctly.
