Spring 2024 Updates: Writing Studio appointments begin Monday, January 8; Changes to Hours, Locations, and More
We’re excited, as always, to continue serving the Vanderbilt community at the Writing Studio this spring. Our Spring 2024 schedule is now live on WCOnline, meaning that appointments can now be booked for the spring semester.

Spring 2024 Updates
Spring Opening and Closure Dates, Hours of Operation
For Spring 2024, writing consultation appointments will be available starting Monday, January 8, through Wednesday, May 1, during the following hours.
Updated Hours for Spring 2024: New 9 p.m. closure
For the duration of this semester, the Writing Studio will be closing one hour earlier at 9:00 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays at our primary locations in the Curb Center Building (1801 Edgehill Ave.), Ste. 112, and in Commons Center, Room 217.
With this change in our late evening hours, please rest assured that our amazing writing consultants are here to offer you the same great support they always have, and their availability will simply be scheduled a little more densely earlier than it would have otherwise.

New Satellite Hours in the Central Library’s Lobby
- Wednesdays 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
We’re excited to announce that, for the first time this spring, the Writing Studio is partnering with the Vanderbilt Libraries to offer evening satellite hours in Central Library’s Lobby.
Spring 2024 Closures
Appointments will not be available this spring on the following dates during university holidays and breaks.
- Monday, January 15, 2024 – Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
- Saturday, March 10, through Sunday, March 17, 2024 – Spring Break
Let the Coffee Flow: Our New Keurig Has Arrived
In what may be the most anticipated update of the 2023-2024 academic year, we are excited to share that our new Keurig arrived and coffee will resume flowing at the Writing Studio’s Edgehill location in the new year. Thanks for those of you who waited so patiently during the caffeine drought at the end of last semester!
