The Writing Studio is proud to partner with the Graduate Student Council to offer a Three-Minute Thesis (3MT) Workshop on Friday, 2/4, 1:00-2:00.

This second 3MT workshop will focus on Humanities Presentations, but all are welcome to attend. We will analyze winning 3MT presentations to learn ways to present your dissertation or thesis research in a concise and compelling fashion.

Put your skills to the test at Vanderbilt University’s Spring Three Minute Thesis (3MT) Competition on April 1st, 2022! 

What is 3MT? 

Hosted by the Graduate Student Council, 3MT is a competition designed to promote Vanderbilt’s Ph.D. students research and to help students cultivate an elevator pitch to advertise their skills to future employers. This in-person event will be held in Vanderbilt University’s Student Life Center on April 1st, 2022.  Prizes are awarded as follows: Grand Prize ($1,000), Honorary Humanities Award ($500), Honorary STEM Award ($500), and People’s Choice ($250).

How do I register? 

Early registration for the event is during the month of February and you will be automatically entered into a raffle for a prize! The deadline to register and submit your slide is March 18thLink to google form:
