Immediate Next Steps
- Register for your VUnetID. (After you pay your matriculation fee, you will receive an email from the Office of the University Registrar with instructions.)
- Enroll in DUO Multi-Factor Authentication.
- Check your Vanderbilt Gmail over the summer for a series of newsletters and important information about life on campus.
- Log in to your YES Portal to ensure you complete your checklist before arriving on campus. Note it takes up to 4 days for changes in YES to appear within the portal.
- Apply for housing.
- Send an official copy of your final high school or college transcript to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. The transcript should be submitted through the application platform through which you applied.
- We encourage you to sign and return the Guarantor Authorization and Debt Repayment Agreement.
- International transfer students: Determine if you will attend International Student Orientation. If so, email residentialcolleges@vanderbilt.edu to be placed in an international orientation group.
- International students: Check the email you used to apply for Vanderbilt admission and your Vanderbilt Gmail frequently for important updates regarding visas, and travel arrangements.
- Families: Submit your email address on the Parents and Family Programs website to receive their newsletters.

All students: Prepare immunization, tuberculosis, and health information that might require contacting or visiting your health care provider, then submit.

Be on the lookout for course registration information sent from your school or college.

Receive a copy of the Campus Reading book and begin reading. The Campus Reading will be mailed to your home address or sent to you digitally. (Optional for transfer students.)
