FCAI Associate Director and Program Manager Speak at OCALICONLINE 2023
On November 16th, FCAI Associate Director Dave Caudel and Program and Communications Manager Jessica Schonhut-Stasik spoke at the 2023 OCALICONLINE Autism and Disabilities Conference about the programs and opportunities available at the Frist Center.
OCALICONLINE is run by OCALI who are “a model agency for inspiring change and promoting access for people with disabilities. But how do you describe an organization that is so many things to so many people? Home to ten distinct centers and three world-class online learning portals, OCALI is at the forefront of equipping parents, professionals, and educators with the tools necessary to help people with disabilities live quality lives.
The hallmark of our work revolves around three key components: partnerships, policies, and practice. We leverage our partnerships and network to facilitate change. We influence and impact policies and how they are made. We analyze research and convert it into applicable, easy-to-understand practices so that others can flourish and be empowered.”
OCALICONLINE aims to connect and collaborate individuals from across lifespan, across agencies, and across the world in the areas of autism ad disability; “OCALICON is the place where ideas are exchanged, relationships are formed, and inspiration is transformed into action.”
