The Treatment and Research Institute for Autism Spectrum Disorders (TRIAD)

taylor

Several research teams at Vanderbilt work to increase the understanding of autism spectrum disorders, such as the development, treatment and causes of ASD. Many of these researchers are partnering with us to also look at methodologies needed to match the gifts and talents of people on the spectrum with business needs.

TRIAD, a program of the Vanderbilt Kennedy Center, works with a number of groups and clinics, both for training and research. One of the groups they work with is the Robotics of Autonomous Systems Lab (RASL). They support clinics, such as the children’s hospital and helping parents concerned with an initial diagnosis of children on the spectrum. They’re also involved in drug trials, stress reduction methods and researching better tools for screening diagnoses.
