Join us for “What’s Your Thesis?” workshop 2 in the Writing Studio’s new Core Studio workshop series
Core Studio Workshops: Workshops Designed for First-Year Undergraduates
The Writing Studio is excited to launch a new weekly writing workshop series for 2025-2026 that we are calling our Core Studio Workshops.
Core Studio Workshops are open to all, but are intended specifically for first-year undergraduates as new college writers. Each of these weekly workshops will be an opportunity to focus in on a particular topic geared to helping you grow your skills and deepen your understanding of college writing in a group setting.
“What’s Your Thesis?” – Core Studio Workshop 2
Join us for our second topic in the new Core Studio Workshop series: “What’s Your Thesis?”
In our one-hour session, we’ll chat about common thesis structures and how to identify which one is a good fit for your argument. We will also cover how to move from the brainstorming and research phase to writing a thesis. We will then have free time to talk about whatever writing projects are currently on your desk. All Vanderbilt students are welcome to attend! RSVP via Anchor Link or Just come by:
