Area of interest:
My research aims to improve the quality of surgical planning for patients with brain disorders such as Parkinson’s disease and epilepsy by developing novel statistical models and machine/deep learning algorithms. My current project is focused on the trajectory planning for Responsive Neurosimulation (RNS). The ultimate goal of this research is to develop a reliable and robust computational tool that will assist the doctors, surgeons and neurologists to better understand and analyze the brain disorders, create effective and precise surgical plans and eventually improve the surgical outcomes.
