Funding for Undergraduate Students

Immersion Vanderbilt does not require additional funding. However, there are financial awards applications open to undergraduate students to request assistance with the cost of immersive experiences and projects. Funds are not guaranteed and partial awards are made. Students should consider in advance the costs associated with immersive experiences and culminating projects before committing.

  • Meet with an adviser who can help locate funding and resources, discuss options, and consider ways to keep costs manageable.
  • Pursue funding early in the academic year. Many funding opportunities have strict deadlines or may only be open while funds are available.
  • Award decisions for many applications can take one to two weeks from the time the application is received, unless stated otherwise on the application for the fund.
  • After award decisions are made, funds can take four to six weeks to appear in the student's account.
