Jeremi London
About
As the Associate Provost of Academic Opportunity in the Office of Undergraduate Education at Vanderbilt, London develops and oversees programs that broaden undergraduate students’ access to academic opportunities. She directs the Posse Scholars Program, Summer Catalyst and First-Generation student groups and seeks grant support for these programs and related initiatives.
London has deep expertise in engineering education as well as an impressive grant record including the prestigious NSF CAREER grant.
As an educator, London uses mixed methods research designs to investigate the impact of STEM education research and strives to make an impact on STEM education through research. Her efforts have been supported by over $5.8M, and resulted in over 100 peer-reviewed articles, best paper awards, keynote addresses, national leadership, and meaningful student outcomes.
London joined Vanderbilt from Virginia Tech where she was an associate professor of engineering education. In addition, she has worked at the National Science Foundation, GE-Healthcare, and Anheuser Busch. She holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Industrial Engineering, and Ph.D. in Engineering Education, all from Purdue University.
