Membership Options
We enrich the Vanderbilt University student experience at the Vanderbilt David Williams II Recreation and Wellness Center by cultivating diverse, meaningful connections and encouraging lifelong learning through programs and services that promote healthy lifestyles.
Students who register for summer classes are assessed a mandatory Student Services Fee. The Student Services Fees allow students to access campus programs including the Rec’s main facility.
We are only inviting current university employees (faculty, staff, postdocs), current university interns, recognized emeriti-retired faculty, and current Vanderbilt University Medical Center employees to become a member. Memberships must be purchased in person with a debit or credit card only. Memberships are non-refundable, and membership cancellations must be submitted on or before the 25th of the prior month of cancellation. Membership fees will not be reimbursed or prorated due to closures and/or change in operational activities e.g. summer semester, university holidays, construction, maintenance, breaks, or events deemed necessary. Memberships are assigned to a specific individual and are not transferable to a different individual.

Purchasing a Membership
- An individual must fall into one of our approved purchasing categories.
- To purchase a membership, an individual must come in person before entering the facility.

Canceling a Membership
Members wishing to cancel their membership must please fill out the Membership Cancellation Request form below. Membership cancellations must be submitted on or before the 25th of the prior month of cancellation.
- Once the Membership Cancellation Request form has been submitted, the member will receive an email confirmation of their canceled membership.
