Each semester, the Global Education Office offers many ways to learn about study abroad across campus, including information sessions, open houses, and information fairs. Scroll down to see what we have coming up!

GEO also sends both student and staff representatives to other organizations’ events to talk about opportunities for study abroad. If you’d like us to come to your event, email us at Please submit your request at least 7 days prior to your event. You can expect a response from us within 3 business days.

Study Abroad and Your Career During COVID-19

A special session jointly offered by GEO and the Career Center for Spring 2020 study abroad students. We'll discuss how to navigate the unexpected re-entry, ways to reframe and articulate your study abroad stories, and share career resources relevant for COVID-19. BCC Pop Up Advising

GEO staff will be hosting pop-up advising hours twice per month at the BCC throughout the semester. If you are at the BCC, stop by the Resource Room every second and fourth Monday to get your study abroad questions answered!

International Immersion Showcase

Curious how you can satisfy Immersion while studying abroad? Come to this event to hear study abroad alumni present their international immersion projects and experiences. You will also learn which study abroad programs will help you satisfy Immersion, and get your questions about international immersion answered by staff from OIR.

Study Abroad and Heritage

Part of the "Study Abroad Voices" series, this event will feature a panel of study abroad alumni who explored their own heritage while studying abroad. Come learn how study abroad can help you gain insights to facets of your own identity and heritage.
