The Sophomore Experience
The Sophomore Experience is a yearlong program designed to provide second-year students with multiple opportunities to connect with faculty, staff and peers and learn about important campus and community resources.
Class of 2024 students, we hope you will join us for the below events:
Sophomore Passport Series
The Sophomore Passport Series runs from September 9 to November 9. This program is designed to help students explore the various campus offices that can provide resources and support. Each partner location has a QR code for the Sophomore Passport Series. By scanning the QR code, that office is added to your passport and you are one step closer to attending the Passport Series Reception! Students need to stop by four of the eight locations for an invitation to this event.
SOPHOMORE MYSTERY EXCURSIONS
The Sophomore Mystery Excursions will begin in October. Students will be invited on a mystery excursion into Nashville, where they will be treated to one of Nashville’s finest attractions. The catch, of course, is that students won’t know the event location until they’re on the way there! Students can sign up on Anchor Link for a chance to be selected for one of these excursions. Excursions will also feature special guests and swag giveaways.
thrive dinner series
The Thrive Dinner Series consists of ten dinners split between the Fall and Spring semesters. Sign up on Anchor Link to join Assistant Provost Jill Stratton for a catered dinner with special campus guests answering the question of how they thrive in both their personal and professional lives at Vanderbilt!
