Data Science Institute

I am a junior with a double major in math and economics. My research interests are in applying operations research/data science techniques to analyze and solve practical problems in fields like business and transportation. I am particularly interested in using statistical/econometric models to extract insights from large-scale datasets. I have spent my sophomore year working on the legal document classification project at Vanderbilt DSI under Dr. Bell’s supervision. This summer, I am working with Prof. Kejia Hu from Owen School of Management to investigate the impacts of virtual queue on customer satisfaction.
