Date: May 6, 2024 – May 31, 2024

Location: Virtual via Zoom

Program Overview

Join us for AI Summer 2024, a free, month-long workshop dedicated to exploring the world of AI models and programming. Open to researchers, students, and the broader Vanderbilt community, this workshop offers a comprehensive introduction to:

  • AI model fundamentals and prompt engineering
  • AI-assisted programming for AI applications
  • Training and fine-tuning AI models

Workshop Structure

All sessions will be conducted remotely via Zoom, ensuring access to a wider audience. Our agenda includes:

  1. Week 1: Introduction to AI models and prompt engineering.
  2. Week 2: AI-assisted programming for AI applications.
  3. Weeks 3 & 4: Training and fine-tuning AI models.

Participation Priority

While the workshop is free, spaces are limited. Priority will be given to:

  1. Researchers with a specific research goal and preliminary data.
  2. Students interested in joining research projects.
  3. Anyone with an interest in deep learning and AI.
