If you’re interested in leveraging the latest developments in Large Language Models to enhance your teaching and would like to help bridge the growing digital divide, which otherwise would be widened by developments in AI, we invite you to apply for free assistance from our Data Science for Social Good Fellows. Those interested can watch the information session “Using ChatGPT in Teaching: Generative AI and Prompt Engineering for Education” we held April 25.

We’re offering support to VU faculty across all colleges to build tools for use in their classrooms, then sharing the technology (but not instructor’s content) as open-source solutions for use by other instructors in other institutions that might not have our resources. If you would like to use AI technologies in your teaching AND help bridge the digital divide, apply to be a partner using the form below!

In our the information session on April 25, Data Science Institute Chief Data Scientist, Jesse Spencer-Smith, gave a preview of how we can build innovative new tools for your classroom.

If you are not sure where to start, but would like to participate, go ahead and apply and we’ll meet and help you further develop your ideas. Contact Jesse Spencer-Smith for questions. Apply to participate by filling this form by April 28.
