Pathway Coordinator, Brittaney Baker's headshot photo

Brittaney Baker is Assistant Director of Equity & Immersion Vanderbilt. She previously worked with students as the International coordinator and supported the Civic and Professional pathway for Immersion Vanderbilt. She brings with her experience in Career Services, Post-Secondary Counseling, and Strengths-Based Youth Development. Equity, access, and belonging is at the core of the work she is passionate about.

From her own time as an undergraduate student, Brittaney found that experiential learning was the core of her development as a student and global citizen. She also discovered that we learn more when we step outside of the boundary of our comfort zones. She is excited to work alongside the Experiential Learning and Immersion Vanderbilt team as they positively contribute to Vanderbilt University.

Brittaney earned her B.A. from Coe College, her MSW in Organizational Leadership & Policy Practice from the University of Denver’s Graduate School of Social Work, and her Ed.D in Higher Education Leadership & Policy Curriculum at Vanderbilt University's Peabody College.
