IES offers 8-week remote, for-credit internships abroad with organizations based in the South Pacific, South America, Asia, and Europe. A variety of sectors are available, including STEM, Marketing, Graphic Design, IT, and more. All IES internships feature a concurrent seminar. 

Internships require a commitment of at least 10 hours per week. Some internship placements require language proficiency. Specific internship schedule will be determined between the intern and their supervisor. 

As a part of the program, students will also enroll in a seminar to help understand and navigate the international workplace. Students will also have access to Rosetta Stone language-learning software to hone their language skills. 

As part of the IES program, students will complete a final paper on their internship. 

Rising juniors and above preferred.
