Lori Roddy from Neutral Zone

Lori Roddy, the executive director of Neutral Zone, visited the Curb Scholars today. The Neutral Zone “is a diverse, youth-driven teen center dedicated to promoting personal growth through artistic expression, community leadership and the exchange of ideas.” Lori spoke to us about the mission of The Neutral Zone and how to design a center so that it would be youth-driven in its mission, programming, and execution. The Curb Scholars then applied those approaches to problem solving some real-world social problems that the Neutral Zone had engaged with in the past and thought of how we could apply their strategies to our own entrepreneurial projects and endeavors.
