Greetings from sunny San Diego! Some 2,000 miles away from Vanderbilt, the chapter works to keep our alma mater close. Our signature event is the Vandy Day at the Races held each August at the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club. Each summer we celebrate new 'Dores from San Diego County with our Summer Send Off Party. In the spring and fall, we cheer on the baseball, basketball, and football teams at viewing parties around the county. We also enjoy building upon our Vanderbilt educations by inviting university professors and deans to speak as part of the Commodore Classroom. Friends, significant others, and Vandy enthusiasts are always welcome. We are always looking for new ideas and events from all alumni, parents, and friends of Vanderbilt. Come join the fun!
