Vanderbilt Association of Hispanic and Latinx Alumni (VAHLA)

Welcome to VAHLA

VAHLA was created by alumni to connect alumni with each other and the university. All alumni who identify as Hispanic/Latinx are considered members of this group. Alumni who majored in fields of study related to Hispanic/Latinx culture are also encouraged to opt in, if interested!

Members receive newsletters and invitations to VAHLA events. We host social gatherings and networking opportunities and work closely with student groups so VAHLA can provide resources for current students. We hope you find community and support through VAHLA.

Get Involved

We are looking for VAHLA alumni to serve as Community Agents to help build a strong VAHLA community by staying up-to-date on the latest campus news, connecting with classmates and the university, planning and encouraging attendance at events and driving support of Vanderbilt during key campaigns. Community Agents are the first to know about VAHLA initiatives, provide feedback, and even help coordinate events in their area.

Interested in being a VAHLA Community Agent? Let us know here.
