ACCRE offers customized workshops for classes and for all researchers at Vanderbilt upon request.

ACCRE Python Hours

Twice a week on:

Wednesdays 10am-12pm
Fridays at 10am-12pm

Python hours occur at the Hill Center. Please drop in with any questions or needs around getting help with python! Just let the front desk know you are here to see

Software Carpentry

ACCRE is pleased to offer Software Carpentry style trainings to the Vanderbilt community in collaboration with the Vanderbilt Data Science Institute, and the Jean and Alexander Heard Libraries.  Events will be offered on demand. All skill levels are welcome.

Campus Offerings
There are many training programs that can be found around campus. Below we list some of the most popular.  Please return back frequently for updated information regarding our efforts to provide more training.
- Vanderbilt Data Science Institute has a very healthy workshop offering. Please check their page for updates on trainings available related to data science, machine learning, AI, and much more!
- The Vanderbilt Digital Lab offers workshops and a wide range of weekly working groups.  While the topics offered by their workshops vary, the working groups cover introductory Python, Query, Tiny Data, and the Semantic Web.
- The Center for Quantitative Sciences offers workshops every third Friday of the month.  See the complete schedule here.
- The Vanderbilt Institute for Clinical Translation Research offers bootcamps and training for Vanderbilt researchers.
- The Department of Biostatistics offers workshops and clinics, supporting a wide range of needs, such as the R Clinic, Biostatistics Clinic, Clinical Research Center workshops, the Center for Quantitative Science workshops, as well as the Statistical Computing Series.  Find a complete list of their resources here.
- The Kennedy Center also offers Biostatistics and Bioinformatics education and consultation in experimental design, data collection and storage, analysis, and interpretation of findings.
