Spring Semester Kickoff

To begin the Spring semester, program director Elizabeth Meadows gave the Scholars a preview of the semester’s upcoming events, which include internship preparation, Vanderbilt walking tours designed by the Scholars, and new group projects. With the walking tours in mind, the Scholars completed a two-part exercise. First, they attempted to fill in a United States map completely from memory. Next, they partnered up and “led” their partner on a detailed tour of an important place in their memory. For next week, the Scholars will begin projects based on ideas from last semester’s 10x10x10 activity.
