Doing the Opposite, with Dave Pittman of The Native

February 11, 2014

Dave Pittman, the creator of Nashville’s arts and lifestyle print magazine The Native led Curb Scholars through an exciting workshop on thinking outside the box—or rather, doing the opposite of what the mainstream business models tell you to do—to create a successful and creative enterprise. All scholars came up with a problem, designed a product around that problem, and then explored ways to produce and promote that product. At the end, scholars created prototypes and then presented their idea to the group with a sales pitch.
