Save the date for Homecoming/Reunion 2008
Everyone is invited to campus for Homecoming/Reunion on October 24 - 25 to reconnect with friends and enjoy a weekend full of events, including educational events, Reunion class parties for graduating years ending in 8's and 3's, Homecoming Tailgate, and VU vs. Duke game.

"What America Needs Are More Negative Ads"
Professor John Geer will discuss the role of negativity in presidential campaigns, particularly in the battle between McCain & Obama. Conventional wisdom says negative ads are bad for the process; however, Professor Geer contends that negative ads are actually good for democracy.

6th Annual Food Depository Volunteer Day

Greater Chicago Food Depository

We'll sort food for distribution to 60 agencies including soup kitchens, pantries, shelters, and adult and child care facilities, who distribute it to people at risk of hunger in Chicago. Children over 13 are welcome.
