Vanderbilt is home to several programs that offer undergraduate students paid opportunities to participate in research over the summer. Some programs are limited to currently enrolled Vanderbilt undergraduates, while others are open to students from outside universities. Students may also pursue off-campus summer research programs or field schools!

Summer Opportunities Away from Campus
Immersion Vanderbilt maintains a database of paid off-campus summer research opportunities for undergraduates. Applications for most programs close between mid-January and late February. This database is meant to increase student awareness of off-campus opportunities, and the linked programs are not endorsed by Vanderbilt.
