Through Immersion Vanderbilt, students have the option to have their research immersive experiences and projects recognized on their transcript. Students who are engaged in lab sciences, social sciences, humanities, and field work have the potential to transform ideas into action, refine skills, and integrate knowledge with experience.

What To Know About Immersion Vanderbilt

Can undergraduate research be used to complete Immersion Vanderbilt? Yes! There are are numerous types of research experiences (including research assistance). Students who wish to use these experiences for an Immersion project are encouraged to browse and explore the many campus resources and departments to find the opportunity that best suits their interests. Paid and academic research may also be used towards an Immersion project!

 

 

Can all research disciplines be used? Yes, everything ranging from the Humanities, Social Sciences, Natural Sciences, Engineering, Education, and Creative projects can be used for an Immersion Project.
